Thuro Metal Products, Inc.is ITAR registered manufacturer of precision machined component parts and assemblies under the ITAR program administered by the U.S. State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) governs the import and export of items and services on the United States.
AEROSPACE QUALITY MANAGEMENT: AS 9100D
Third-party certification received in 2015 remains in force, audited in accordance with AS 9104-1:2012 by ISOQAR Inc. and deemed to conform to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D system standards. Our extensive vendor base is audited and approved by us and we furthermore designate those vendors (often NADCAP-certified) who are approved to process our product according to Aerospace Standards.
INDUSTRIAL & LIGHTING QUALITY MANAGEMENT: ISO 9001
In 2003, Thuro was certified by a third party registrar to the ISO 9001 standard and has maintained continuous certification since. Thuro is presently certified ISO 9001:2015.
AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY MANAGEMENT: ISO/TS 16949
Thuro uses the APQP process when required. We have knowledge and experience with the requirements of Automotive Quality Management systems such as TS 16949 and the VDA 6.3 We are able to provide documentation as required under a Level III PPAP (Pre-Production Approval Process).
